2012-2013/Junior: Started all 37 games at point guard... Averaged 10 points, 4.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game... Broke Jay Burson's all-time Ohio State record for steals (old record - 208; Craft had 248 through the end of the season)... His 248 career steals was good for seventh all-time in Big Ten history... Now owns three of the top five single-season steal marks in Ohio State history (1, 3, and 5)... Also ended the season with 530 all-time assists, which is 50 shy of Jamar Butler's Ohio State record... Was selected first-team All-Big Ten by the media and second-team by the coaches... First-team academic All-American and Capital One Academic All-America of the Year.
2011-2012/Sophomore: Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year... Started 39 games, averaging 8.8 points, 4.6 assists and 2.5 steals... Capital One Academic All-American... Named third team All-Big Ten by the media and honorable mention by the coaches... Semifinalist for the Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the nation's top point guard... Named the NCAA Elite 89 winner for having the highest GPA among the teams in the Final Four (3.899)... Set an Ohio State NCAA Tournament record for steals in a game (6 vs. Cincinnati).
2010-2011/Freshman: Played in 37 games, starting one... Named the Big Ten's Sixth Player of the Year... Averaged 6.9 points, 4.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game... Set an Ohio State record with 15 assists vs. George Mason in the NCAA Tournament (3/20/11), which was also the fourth highest single game assist total in NCAA Tournament history... Set an Ohio State single-game freshman record with seven steals against Iowa (1/19/11).
High School/Personal: Was one of the best overall athletes in the state of Ohio in high school as he was a dominant football player as well as a great basketball player... Won All-Ohio honors at quarterback in 2008 and 2009 and was named Division V offensive player of the year in 2009... Averaged 26 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and 3.2 steals a game as a high school senior... Outstanding student who was valedictorian of his class.
