2011 — Cleared a team-best 39.5 inches in the vertical leap while finishing second among defensive backs with a 310-pound bench press during winter conditioning.
2010 — Started the first six games at cornerback … Had one solo tackle at Oregon State and two vs. Arizona … Missed games at USC and vs. UCLA due to injury … Three tackles in win at Washington State … One pass breakup and three stops vs. Stanford … Career-high four tackles and a breakup at Arizona State … One solo tackle in win over Portland State … Recorded three solo tackles in win at Tennessee Opening day starter, totaled two tackles vs. New Mexico … His 38-inch vertical leap during winter workouts loomed as top mark among defensive backs and ranks fourth all-time among competitors in the secondary … Member of the Oregon Iron Club and the third-strongest player (pound for pound) after totaling 946 pounds in the clean, squat and bench (5.31 times his body weight).
2009 — Made his starting debut at cornerback at UCLA before completing the year opening vs. Ohio State in the Rose Bowl … Appeared in eight games (3 starts) while finishing the year with seven tackles … Included was a season-high three stops against the Bruins.
2008 — Redshirt season … Posted one tackle and broke up one pass in the Spring Game … 35.5-inch vertical jump in winter testing equaled program’s fifth-best effort ever among defensive backs and was the top mark in 13 years.
2007 — Part of Oregon’s incredible freshman class that saw ten true rookies take the field for the 9-4 Ducks … Appeared in nine games … Lone tackle was a TFL in the Sun Bowl win against South Florida … Played a season-best ten snaps vs. Washington State … Credited with a pass breakup in his debut at Michigan.
BEFORE OREGON — Earned four stars from Rivals.com as well as votes on the Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West balloting … Ranked among the top 12 defensive backs in the Far West Section by SuperPrep … Credited with 32 tackles and 10 interceptions his senior year, returning one for a score … Also converted 20 catches into seven touchdowns to help Lions complete a 15-0 ledger … School defeated Cardinal Newman in overtime, 27-20, to claim CIF Division II state title and finish sixth in the country in the final USA Today rankings … Played a major role in the Tri-Valley League champions leading the state with 27 interceptions and outscoring the opposition by an average of 42.2 points per game … Contributed 46 tackles and four interceptions (returning two for TDs) in 2005.
