Posted 16 games in double figures as Hickey displayed a great point guard's ability to not only score but distribute the basketball as well ... 18 games of four assists or more, posting 125 total assists (the most since 2009 by an LSU player)

High School: Named Mr. Basketball in the state of Kentucky .... All-State selection ... Played both basketball and football at Christian County ... For his career scored over 1,300 points, 415 assists and 341 steals ... In his senior season, averaged 18.5 points per game, 4.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists ... Quarterbacked his high school team to the state championship football game and that same night put on his basketball uniform and played in a game some 140 miles away ... Played in the Indiana-Kentucky all-star games, scoring 19 points with eight assists and one turnover in the first game and six points, six rebounds and six assists in game two.
