Bio
Brendon Lavender, like Kyle Fogg, was one of Lute Olson's last players to be recruited and signed by the legendary hall of famer. Lavender, a late summer signee, has steadily improved in his four seasons as a Wildcat. Now, in his senior year, all the hard work is paying off. Lavender leads Arizona in three point shooting at 54.2% from behind the arc through 24 games. He's also making over 50% of his shots from the field.
The consummate role player, Lavender will be called upon to continue to serve as the Wildcat capable of stretching any defense to defend the arc when he's on the floor. This season he's matched a career-high scoring total of 18 points in Arizona wins over Bryant University (100-60) and Oregon State (81-73 in OT) by connecting on a combined 11-of-14 treys in those two games. He also had 14 points in Arizona's blowout win over Washington State, again by being hot from beyond the arc (4-for-5 on 3-Point attempts).
