Bio
2009 co-MVP of the Serra League as a senior at Crespi High School. Was Serra League first-team quarterback. L.A. Times Top 10 High School Quarterback in the Southland nominee. Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 selection. PrepStar Magazine All-American. Passed for 2,370 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior. Ran for 410 yards and seven touchdowns. Threw just six interceptions.
In 2010 Bennett redshirted but was a member of the travel squad before becoming the No. 2 QB on the depth chart late in the year.
2011 Bennett played his first career game and eight overall. Threw six touchdowns and no interceptions. Ran for 200 yards on 23 carries and 369 yards passing.
In the 2012 spring game he completed 19 of 32 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.
