COLLEGE: Junior defensive tackle who begins his second season in the Garnet & Black after arriving in August 2010 as a junior college transfer... listed as the backup to Travian Robertson entering the fall... showed significant improvement over the last half of the 2010 season as he gained a better understanding of the defense and intensity level needed to compete in the SEC. 2010: Appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive tackle. JUNIOR COLLEGE: 2009: Played defensive tackle for Coach Jeff Sims at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College... helped lead the Greyhounds to an 11-1 record and the nation's semifinals where they lost to Blinn (Texas)... also blocked five field goals... squad was the Jayhawk Conference Champion, the Region VI Champion and ranked second in the nation. HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Colleton County High in Walterboro, S.C. HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Colleton County High School in Walterboro, S.C. in 2008.
