COLLEGE: Sophomore who made the transition from defensive line to tight end in the spring... has been a solid contributor on special teams. 2010: Played in 12 of 14 games, primarily on special teams... missed the Troy and Clemson games after suffering concussion on opening kickoff at Florida. 2009: Redshirted as a true freshman. HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Shane Davis at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., graduating in 2009... the Wildcats went 7-4 in his senior season, the winningest season in school history (they began competing at the varsity level in 2000)...returned two interceptions for touchdowns against Monroe Area in 2006... originally committed to Georgia Tech before selecting the Gamecocks. PERSONAL: Chauntil D. Gresham is pursuing a degree in criminal justice... is the nephew of Gamecock great George Rogers.
