Bio
Like Jones, Watford has eclipsed the 1,000-point barrier in his Indiana career, and he has been a starter for the Hoosiers throughout his career. The Birmingham (Ala.) native averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds and led his team to a 26-6 record as a senior at Shades Valley.
Watford spent much of his first two seasons in Bloomington playing down low, but he moved to a more familiar wing position when Cody Zeller hit campus. As a junior, he became a primary offensive option for the Hoosiers, and he improved both defensively and on the boards. Watford also provided an historical moment for his program, when he hit a buzzer-beating, game-winning 3-pointer in a 73-72 home win against No. 1 Kentucky on Dec. 10, 2011.
