Named to the 2009 Mississippi Association of Community & Junior Colleges All-North State First Team ... was tabbed 2009 NJCAA Preseason All-American First Team ... selected to the 2008 MACJC All-North State Second Team as a freshman ... contributed 77 tackles, including 40 solo stops, and 13 TFL, as well as 10.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries as a sophomore ... posted 80 tackles, including 44 solo, and 15 TFL, along with 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one touchdown during his freshman season ... earned first-team all-state honors as a senior at Lake Gibson High School ... played in the North vs. South All-Star Game ... named a team captain ... won the school's defensive lineman award.
