HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Garner (N.C.) Magnet High School in 2009... coached by Nelson Smith... lettered three years in football... named the top defensive player in the conference, was a two-time first-team all-league performer and was a first-team all-academic selection... team won the conference title and reached the fourth round of the playoffs... turned down a scholarship offer from Fayetteville State. PERSONAL: Connor Keith McLaurin is a biology major at South Carolina... parents are Howard McLaurin and Diane Hancock... father played football at East Carolina.
