3 months agoEveryone participating in or attending Monday morning’s practice session was thankful for the “bubble” as a steady rain fell outside the facility, but inside the Sheakley Athletics Center, the Bearcats had their first workout after Saturday’s scrimmage. The squad was again in shells and went through a two and a half hour workout. More

3 months agoTommy Tuberville and his staff incorporated a 109 play scrimmage as part of Saturday’s practice, and the offense appeared to be significantly ahead of the defense as the UC offense scored several touchdowns. However, the UC defense did play pretty well against the run. More

3 months agoThe Bearcats have now completed one-third of their spring practices after Friday morning’s session in the Sheakley Athletics Center, and Bearcat Lair was there, along with a few hundred high school coaches, to see all the action. As a added bonus, today’s practice report includes a quick “Two Minute Drill” interview with Cincinnati’s defensive back coach, Steve Clinkscale. More

3 months agoAfter taking Sunday off, the Bearcat football team was back on the practice field this (Monday) morning, but unlike the previous two practices, the players were in full gear. There wasn’t a great deal of contact (no tackling), and the whistles came quickly in an attempt to avoid injuries and keep personnel off the ground. More
