HIGH SCHOOL: Carr's high school teams combined to go 56-2 in his career and he was a member of two state championship teams and two runner-up squads. After playing at Buford High School for three years, he transferred to Gainesville High School for his senior season where he played for coach Bruce Miller. During his senior campaign, the Red Elephants went 13-1 and played for the state championship. As a senior, he had 104 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. He had a season-high 13 tackles against North Hall on Sept. 18. He was selected to play in the Max Emfinger All-Star game in Dallas, and also GACA's North-South All-Star Game.
