COLLEGE: Junior who moved to the Spur linebacker position in the spring after working as a strong safety throughout his Gamecock career... preseason fourth-team All-SEC according to Phil Steele... is a leader on the defense... expected to become more vocal on the field with another year under his belt... has played in all 27 games over the past two seasons, making a dozen starts. 2010: Played in all 14 games, starting 10 at strong safety... named the Harris Pastides Scholar-Athlete Award winner at the 2010 spring game. 2009: Highly-touted newcomer who enrolled at Carolina in January 2009 and went through spring drills... one of three scholarship recruits, along with Jarvis Giles and Stephon Gilmore, to graduate from high school early and enroll in January... played in all 13 games making a pair of starts... made his collegiate debut at NC State in the season opener... made his first career start at Tennessee... was a member of the Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.
