Four-year letterwinner at Summit high school. Was a 2011 Under Armour All-American player. Four-star recruit in the 2011 recruiting class by 247sports.com. Selected to the Long Beach Post Telegram "Best in the West' first team. Had 35 carries for 370 yards and six touchdowns and caught 31 balls for 379 yards and five scores as a senior. Named All-Sunkis League Offensive MVP.
2011: - Arrived to Oregon in the fall and redshirted to work with the scout team. Suffered a shoulder injury during the middle of the season.
