Bio
A small forward from Raleigh, N.C., Wells transferred from Xavier to Maryland in Sept. 2012. As a senior at Hargrave Military Academy (Va.), he was ranked the No. 2 recruit in Virginia, and No. 5 prep school prospect in the nation. As a freshman at Xavier, he started all 32 games and was the third-leading rebounder and second-leading scorer on a Muskateers team that reached the Sweet 16. An explosive athlete who can defend multiple positions and shot 38 percent on 3-pointers as a freshman.
