Ferguson is a powerful run stopper who will be in the rotation at defensive tackle in 2012 ... Tremendous size and strength ... Served as a backup at the position as a redshirt freshman and redshirted as a true freshman in 2010 ... Had a solid 2012 in spring drills and was awarded with the Toby Caston Award as the most outstanding defensive player.
Redshirt Freshman Season (2010): Played in 13 games with no starts ... Played in every game except the Mississippi State contest ... Recorded 13 tackles on the year with with 0.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup ... Set a career high with four tackles against Florida.
