2012: The speedy and versatile Farmer figures to be an often-employed wide receiver as a sophomore in 2012.
2011: Farmer began his 2011 freshman season, his first year at USC, as a backup wide receiver, then moved to backup tailback midseason. He also played on special teams, including returning kickoffs. Overall in 2011 while appearing in 4 games (California, Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA), he ran for 15 yards on 5 carries (3.0 avg.), caught 4 passes for 42 yards (10.5 avg.), returned 3 kickoffs for 59 yards (19.7 avg.) and had 2 tackles. At California, he ran for 4 yards on 4 carries, caught a 14-yard pass, returned 2 kcikoffs for 38 yards and had 2 tackles. At Notre Dame, he had an 11-yard run, a 9-yard reception and a 21-yard kickoff return. He also caught a pass against Oregon (14 yards) and UCLA (5 yards).
