George Uko is a 6-4, 300-pound Defensive Tackle from Chino, CA. He is ranked No. 39 in the country by 247Sports.
Uko is the No. 6 recruit in California (CA) and is the No. 2 Defensive Tackle in the nation.
Uko has a 247Sports rating of 96, making him a 4-star prospect.
2012: Uko will compete for a starting job at defensive tackle as a sophomore in 2012.
2011: Uko was an often-used backup defensive tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2011. Overall in 2011 while appearing in all 12 games (he started the Washington and Oregon games), he had 18 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, plus 2 forced fumbles and a deflection. He had 3 tackles against Oregon and UCLA (with a forced fumble in each game) and 2 tackles against Arizona, California, Colorado and Washington (with 1.5 sacks). He made 2011 CollegeFootballNews.com Freshman All-American honorable mention.
2010: Uko redshirted as a freshman defensive tackle in 2010, his first year at USC. He won USC's Service Team Defensive Player of the Year Award.
