High School
As a senior, Steele averaged 24.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals and became the first player in school history to reach 2,000 points for a career. ... He scored 30-plus points seven times, including a career-high of 46 in the Region 2AA playoffs this past spring en route to earning the Knoxville News' player of the year honors for the second time. ...
