COLLEGE: Sophomore defensive back who put together a good spring, catapulting him into a possible starting position in the fall... played cornerback most of the spring and intercepted a pair of passes in the Garnet & Black Spring Game... moved to free safety for the final two spring practices and is listed as the probable starter there entering the fall... shows great leaping ability and good ball skills. 2010: Played in 11 games as a reserve cornerback. 2009: Redshirted as a true freshman... worked with the scout team. HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter at Beaufort High School, graduating in 2009... coached by Mark Clifford... named the 2008 Beaufort Gazette/Island Packet Defensive Player of the Year... played cornerback, quarterback, receiver, kick returner and tailback during his prep career... selected to play in the 2008 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas... competed in track as well, running the hurdles and sprints. PERSONAL: Jimmy Legree is a sociology major... high school teammate of fellow Gamecock Devin Taylor.
