Register... earned first-team All-Area accolades by the News-Press... Diggs played his first three years at Bishop Verot High in Fort Myers, Fla., before transferring to Island Coast for his senior season. ...a four-star recruit, the 17th-best player at his position and the 43rd-best player in the state by 247Sports.com... is the son of former Gamecock linebacker Shed Diggs (1984-87)... narrowed his choices to Carolina, Vanderbilt and Tennessee and also visited Nebraska and Michigan State before selecting the Gamecocks.
