High School: A dominating defensive lineman who earned the right to compete in the Under Armour High School All-America Game following his senior season ... Helped lead Bastrop High School to the Class 4A semifinals after finishing the season with 25 tackles and five sacks in 2008 ... His performance earned him first-team all-state honors as a senior ... Anchored a Bastrop defense that held opponents to 10.4 points per game en route to a perfect 15-0 record and Class 4A state championship as a junior in 2007 ... Finished his junior season as a first-team all-state selection with 37 tackles, two sacks and one interception ... Also earned first-team all-state honors as an offensive lineman during his sophomore season in 2006 ...
