2012: Shaw, a sophomore safety who transferred to USC in the spring of 2012 from Florida, will compete to get into the playing rotation in 2012. He was granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA to allow him to be eligible to compete in 2012 without having to sit out a year after transferring.
FLORIDA: He appeared in 10 games for the Gators in 2011 as a redshirt freshman and started once. He had 22 tackles, including 1 for a loss, and had a deflection in 2011. He made 6 tackles against Auburn while starting and 4 tackles each versus Kentucky and LSU.
He played in 1 game as a true freshman early in the 2010 season, but did not make a tackle, and was allowed to redshirt the season because of a knee injury.
