COLLEGE: Junior tight end who is an integral part of the Gamecock offense... especially effective as a run blocker... considered the best blocker of the tight ends... hard working, smart player who is a tough competitor... could also see action at fullback in a role similar to Patrick DiMarco in 2010... also helps on special teams... has played in all 27 games over the past two seasons, making four starts... has nine receptions for 115 yards.
2010: Played in all 14 games... made a pair of starts, earning the nod against both Vanderbilt and Tennessee... earned the Steve Sisk Outstanding Blocker Award in the spring. 2009: True freshman who quickly moved his way into the two-deep at tight end... also saw regular action on special teams... played in all 13 games, making a pair of starts... got the starting nod against Kentucky and Vanderbilt. HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Joey Mangum at Central High School in Pageland, S.C., graduating in 2009... earned First-Team All-State honors from The State... helped Central reach the 2008 Class AA state finals and a 14-1 record playing both tight end and defensive end... selected to play in the 2008 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas... two-sport star in high school as he also excelled on the hardwood.... averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds in hoops as a junior. PERSONAL: Justice Cunningham is a sport and entertainment management major... has a brother named Power and sisters named Promise and Sincere.
