Travel Team: New York Gauchos

May 2011: Ahmed has a nice basketball IQ and plays off the ball well. His smarts helped him clean up on the offensive glass at the Nike EYBL in Los Angeles. Ahmed shows promise but right now projects to the mid-major level. He can score inside the paint but lacks the perimeter skills to truly excel at the high major level. He does have nice form on his shot and keeps the ball above his head inside, which speaks to his fundamentals.
