    Bio

Solomon Hill has steadily improved as a player since becoming an Arizona Wildcat in Sean Miller's inaugural recruiting class at U of A. Hill was known as a "tough" freshman in 2009, willing to do anything for the team in order to earn minutes on the floor. His work ethic continued throughout his sophomore season when his total scoring nearly doubled and he came 21 boards shy of 200 in the season. Hill really came on strong late in the season, especially in the Pac-10 tournament and during Arizona's run to the Elite Eight.

As a junior, Hill already has 100 rebounds through 13 games and is shooting just under 50% from the floor. He continues to be the one guy capable of playing all five positions for the Wildcats, oftentimes securing the defensive board and then leading the fast break with the dribble. Hill has produced the first two double-doubles of his career this season, and looks to have many more throughout the conference slate which begins Dec. 31 against in-state rival Arizona State.

Hill has emerged as the team's leader since the start of Pac-12 play, warranting serious consideration for all-Pac-12 end of season first team honors.
