Bio
Tyrone Johnson is a 6-2, 191-pound Point Guard from Rockville, MD. He is ranked No. 68 in the country by 247Sports. Johnson is the No. 2 recruit in Maryland (MD) and is the No. 12 Point Guard in the nation. Johnson has a 247Sports rating of 93, making him a 4-star prospect.
Johnson decided to transfer before playing the first game of his sophomore season at Villanova. He sat out the Fall semester of 2012 and enrolled at South Carolina for the start of the spring semester. He will redshirt the 2012-13 season and will be eligible to play for South Carolina at the conclusion of the Fall 2013 semester on December 14.
