Bio
Winston Shepard is a 6-8, 205-pound Power Forward from Henderson (Nevada) Findlay Prep. Shepard has a 247Sports rating of 93, making him a 4-star prospect.
June 2011: There's nothing Shepard can't do on the basketball court. His skills are limitless and his athleticism is off the charts. At the Pangos All-American Camp, Shepard looked as comfortable as a point guard as he did battling bigger players in the post areas. Despite his obvious talent, there's still room to grow as a shooter, something he'll need to do so as to prevent defenders from sagging off him at the next level. Shepard's first step off the dribble is an explosive one. If he can make that first step even more destructive by forcing a defender to stay honest (and close) when he's facing them up at the 3-Point line, Shepard will become a dangerous, must-guard wing player that easily projects to the high-major level.
February 16, 2012: Shepard commits to San Diego State, choosing the Aztecs over New Mexico.
