2008-09 Season (Freshman): Named to BIG EAST All-Rookie squad ... ranked 10th in offensive rebounds (2.8) ... ranked 12th in BIG EAST-only play in offensive rebounds (2.47) ... grabbed nine rebounds against Seton Hall (3/7) ... poured in a team-high 14 points and grabbed a game-high tying seven rebounds at USF (3/3) ... collected double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds vs. West Virginia (2/26) ... went 9-of-11 from the field against the Mountaineers and his nine defensive rebounds were a season-high ... scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting vs. St. John's (2/11) and added six rebounds ... named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week for second time on Feb. 9 after averaging 13.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg in wins over Notre Dame and Georgetown ...scored 10 points in BIG EAST debut at Marquette (1/4), his fifth double-figure scoring game in the last six contests ... named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week on Dec. 22 after averaging 15.7 ppg and 8.0 rpg in wins over Charleston Southern (12/15), Mississippi State (12/18), and Eastern Kentucky (12/20) ... put down game-tying dunk with one-tenth of a second left in regulation to send UC to overtime vs. Eastern Kentucky (12/20) ... scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds in overtime win vs. Colonels ... scored a game-high 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds vs. Charleston Southern (12/15) ... scored 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting and added seven rebounds at UNLV (11/29) ... registered first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds in collegiate debut vs. South Dakota (11/16), becoming the first freshman to record a double-double in first collegiate game since Dontonio Wingfield (1994-95).
