10 intriguing transfer destinations for Justin Fields

10 intriguing transfer destinations for Justin Fields

  • Discussion
  • +1 Chris, keep em coming

  • There are only really 3-4 realistic destinations, but we had to do 10 so that we could get 6 SEC schools on the list.

Hummer living up to the name, I see.

  • lol Ut hasn't developed a QB since...Casey Clausen? I'd love for him to go to Ut so we could get our licks in yearly with their garbage OL.

  • I just dont see UGA allowing him to transfer within the conference, at the very least within the SEC East.

  • Not to mention Tyler Bray forced Aaron Murray into early retirement

  • Half of the schools listed on here, he most likely won't even be able to transfer to. Most of the time with transfers, you are blocked from going to a school within the conference or if the team is scheduled to play against the upcoming season. That rules out Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, and Texas A&M.

Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, and Penn State are pretty much the most realistic options.

Oklahoma, he would compete with Austin Kendall, Spencer Rattler
Ohio State: Tate Martell and Dwan Mathis (assuming Haskins leaves)
Penn State: Tommy Stevens and Michael Johnson Jr.
Florida State: Deondre Francois and James Blackman (Howell likely flips to UNC), Francois is a strong candidate to grad transfer

  • Oklahoma with haselwood makes the most sense but they have alot of QB competition and we now know he doesnt like competition at QB

  • Fields will be committing career suicide if he goes to play for Willie. He won’t make 2 dumb decisions in a row

  • Hopefully Haskins and his trainer can convince him this is the place to be haha

Dobbs is terrible lol. Career NFL clipboard holder.

  • So the recruiters who got him to Penn State would have no bearing at all? Ok gotcha

That's no longer an option for schools as of Oct. 15. Georgia could of course request Fields does not transfer within the league, and Fields could comply. But schools can no longer restrict where a player will transfer. All a player need do is notify a school he intends to transfer and he's free to explore his options: https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/ncaa-approves-rule-that-ends-coaches-ability-to-block-transfers/

  • The UF faithful already shitting in their pants knowing Briles and Fields would be a death sentence for them

Lmao nobody is scared of WiLLLLLLLie bro. He hyped up The Gulf war offense and Lethal Simplicity all offseason just to scrap it all after 1 year. Ass cheeks coach. Fields isn't dumb enough to go to FSU

  • To hell what you heard, He won't get any playing time at any of the schools listed. What he needs to do is go to a school like Fresno State where he would be the focus of the offense in a ranked school with a built to win defense and offense. The only weakness this school will have is it's QB who will be leaving to the NFL. Up and coming head coach good schedule and will be a New Years day bowl team when he takes the team 14-0.

Fresno might be better than any PAC 12 team if that happened.

  • spear

  • Barn lock.

  • It's all about the SEC. Screw the SEC. You will be surprised when he ends up at WVU

  • He’s not going to Bama but that would be funny as shit. lol

  • Miami fan here... Just wondering if There's any chance they could potentially get involved with JF if he does transfer. I mean the QB situation here is pretty bad, so that's an EASY shot at starting. Plus, a QB is what could take us to the next level. He'd be surrounded by weapons to use. Only thing he'd have to worry about is the piss-poor playcalling. Just my two cents. lmk what you all think.

The playing time would definitely be there. I just don't remember The U being a player at all in his initial recruitment.
