Where are all the Bama fans who opposed Dabo succeeding Saban?

Where are all the Bama fans who opposed Dabo succeeding Saban?

  • He's an onsides kick away from being 2-0 against Saban in the championship game and is currently running him out of the building...

Still oppose the idea? Or do you still want a loser like Mcelwain to take over and sink the program?

The fact that anyone opposed this idea is laughable.

  • I'll say it. I don't want him at Alabama. Ever.

  • Dabo has outcoached Saban in every game with the exception of last year.

Any coach that defends players who cheat I dont want anywhere near my team. If you think for 1 second that only 3 players on that team took PEDs you are a freakin moron. 3 players popped for the same illegal PED there is more than 3 those 3 just got caught. 3 players who didnt hang out together didnt know each other that well those are all words from Dabos mouth and they all tested positive for PEDs the same chemical.

    Wow! Really?
    Hope you're being sarcastic.

  • I like Dabo. 2 NCs. Nuts if you wouldn't put him as the top choice after Saban. Recruits very well at a non traditional blue blood program... would continue recruiting at a very high level at Alabama...and recruiting is 90% of college football success.

  • Joking, meaning I will take him now he has won.
    Saban is still tops.

  • Stupid remarks from me after a very frustrating loss. Not sure I really want Dabo but I am proud of his life story and all that he has accomplished.

    Yeah....me too.

I also still maintain that CNS is not the GOAT. Greatest recruiter....no doubt. But not the GOAT coach. I don't recall CPB ever getting beat like this.

  • I'm just opposed to the time and place of the discussion

Really because Saban has done more with less and the limitations you have for the number of players and scholarships. The game has evolved so much you cant really compare the two fairly. You dont have the level of success Saban has had and not be great it doesnt work like that. He isnt tired of coaching he will pass Bryant for national titles. Bad games happen it just sucks it happened tonight of all nights. The refs gave us no help tonight either. We will be back no doubt about that.

The refs excuse is lame...don't get me wrong. I agree we got two PI no calls at critical times in the RZ. But that didn't lose the game.

I agree that the eras are different.

I don't think most people realize that if this playoff format had been around in the CPB era.

Alabama gets there in at least 13 years between 1961 to 1981.

Tonight was a thorough @$ whipping. Had Clemson wanted to they could have hung 50+ on us...easily.

I never saw that happen in the CPB era.

Sorry but that was nowhere close to the beat down we got tonight.

Clemson ran out the last 10 minutes and could have hung 50+ on us with no trouble.

  • I don’t guess I’ll ever understand all the Dabo hate. I love the guy and hope he is our next coach in a few years.

Yeah I'm not using the refs as an excuse those plays could have changed the game though if they were called. We could have gotten 14 points and at least made it interesting. I'm sure Bama would have dominated the playoffs as well under Bryant not taking anything away from him but I do believe it's been harder for Saban to do what he has done is all. I believe they are like Michael and Lebron greatest of their perspective era.
