There's not a college football program in the country that's enjoying the type of momentum Alabama's had since the start of the spring.

The Crimson Tide has added 17 commitments over the course of the last 12 weeks, boosting its class rank to No. 1 in the nation, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

It's a far cry from where the Tide stood this time last year when it sat with just six commitments and ranked No. 51 in the country.

Not only does Alabama have more than three times the commits than it had this time one year ago, but the Tide is filling its positions of need. Nowhere is that more evident than on the defensive line where UA has secured five pledges, six if you include future Jack linebacker Kevin Harris.

Along with the defensive line, Alabama has addressed several other areas including the quarterback position as well as the secondary.
Expect the Crimson Tide staff to continue putting the pedal to the medal throughout the fall with several more needs to address.

Before that, however, we take a look at each of the Tide's 20 commitments.
