Brandon Jones is a player we first started to hear about the summer before his freshman year of high school.

He's a talented cover corner with a nice combination of quickness, cover skills and ball awareness. He's an instinctive player who always seems to be around the football and has a ton of big play capability.

On the recruiting front, Jones has already pulled in double digit offers and recently took visits to Arizona and Arizona State.

"We weren't able to stay at Arizona very long but I was still able to meet up with coach Meat (Demetrice Martin)," Jones said. "We had a good talk and it was fun to catch up with him on a lot of different things. He offered me at UCLA and I have an offer from UA as well.

"ASU was a great visit and the way they treated us was something special. I loved the atmosphere in Tempe and it was great talking with the coaches and especially coach Edwards. He talked with us when we first arrived and kept it real with us on what college ball is all about. He said we have to be fully prepared when we get to campus and the overall trip definitely put ASU on top for me."

Jones said the plan for him this off-season is to focus on more on academics and the weight room but could still take a few other visits.

"I want to get to Oregon," Jones said. "They offered last month and are recruiting me the hardest right now. I have a great relationship with Donte Williams, that's my guy and it's always good to talk with him. I've never been to Oregon before but I definitely want to try and get out there at some point.

"I also want to get back to LSU. I visited last year and loved it there. I love Baton Route, the scenery and especially the food, it was incredible. I want to visit Nebraska too but I'm not really focusing too much on recruiting right now. I have two years to go and I'll take more visits next spring, this year, I just want to work on getting bigger and stronger and keeping my grades up as well."
