Arkansas State picked up 3 commitments -- one each the past three days -- during their Big Pack Weekend.

Del City, Okla., wide receiver Jeff Foreman made his pledge public on Sunday while defensive end Anthony Scott of Montgomery (Ala.) Carver went public with his pledge on Saturday night.

On Sunday running back coach Norval McKenzie tweeted; “ Storm and I smiling about the new additions to our RB room and the fact that camp starts this week.”

So it looks like the Red Wolves will publicly add a running back, one of two expected in this class, soon. That became official on Monday morning when Isaiah Azubuike from St. Louis Lutheran North.

With three commits from Saturday, A-State had four high school pledged for the 2019 class but there are 6 blue shirts who are currently on campus and will count toward this class.

Texarkana, Texas quarterback Colton Clack, who was the first high school commit for the class, also attended Big Pack Weekend.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Scott, rated three-stars and ranked as the No. 81 defensive end in the country on 247Sports, leads Carver High against cross-town rival Jefferson Davis to open the 2018 season on August 23. He was committed to Central Florida but backed out of that last week. He has offers from FAU, Louisiana-Lafayette, Toledo, Tulane, UAB and Western Kentucky.

Azubuike (5-11, 197) had offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, Kansas State, Louisville, Syracuse and a handful of MAC schools.

He played mostly defensive end last season when A-State signed Donovan Marshall was the featured running back. Azubuike did have 10 touchdowns and averaged 5.8 yards per carry. He also had 77 tackles, 12 for loss, five sacks and two interceptions.

Foreman, who also plays basketball and run track, caught 43 passes for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also collected 8 interceptions.

Rated the No. 12 player in Oklahoma, Foreman holds offers from Iowa State, Texas Tech, Texas State, Toledo, UTEP and Eastern Michigan.

Several other prospects visited A-State, starting on Thursday with Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove cornerback Jarvis Reimorenq and Pearl River (Miss.) CC OL Ivory Scott on Friday. Others known to have visited, DB DJ Dormeus of Killeen, Texas; Anthony Switzer of Marion, RB Kenneth Walker of Arlington, Tenn.;and safety Dane Motley of Alpharetta, Ga.
