EA Sports, creator of numerous sports-related video game franchises, released their complete list of Madden NFL 19 player ratings this week, and multiple former Razorbacks are included in this year’s version of the popular game.

Among former Hogs, Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters ranks the highest at 91 overall. Peters is tied for the highest rating on his team, boasting 95 strength, 90 pass blocking and 84 run blocking. The future Hall-of-Famer enters his 15th season in the National Football League.

Immediately trailing Peters is Chargers tight end Hunter Henry at 88 overall. Following a breakout rookie season, Henry was set to become LA’s go-to guy at tight end with the departure of Antonio Gates, but unfortunately Henry tore his ACL which will force him to miss the entire season. Two other breakout pro Hogs, defensive end Trey Flowers and running back Alex Collins, join Henry in the 80’s at 86 and 81 overall, respectively. Flowers has become a staple in New England’s defensive front and Collins nearly led the league in rushing in 2017.

In the 70’s, one will find Broncos tight end AJ Derby (77), Lions rookie center Frank Ragnow (76), veteran Panthers wide receiver Jarius Wright (76), Patriots defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. (74), Browns defensive end Chris Smith (73), Chargers defensive tackle Darius Philon (72), Saints defensive lineman Mitchell Loewen (72), Lions defensive tackle Jeremiah Ledbetter (71), Jets center Travis Swanson (70), Redskins middle linebacker Martrell Spaight (70) and Raiders offensive lineman Denver Kirkland (70). Among these, Ragnow and Wise are the mostly likely to see a ratings spike in the coming seasons.

Redskins tight end Jeremy Sprinkle leads the group rated in the 60’s at 69 overall, followed by Giants defensive tackle Robert Thomas (67), Broncos rookie running back David Williams (63), Lions offensive tackle Dan Skipper (62), Rams quarterback Brandon Allen (61). Raiders wide receiver Keon Hatcher comes in as the lowest-rated Razorback in the game at 60 overall. Williams, along with the aforementioned Ragnow, are the only two Arkansas rookies included.

The comprehensive list did contain some notable omissions in Cardinals wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, Saints running back Jonathan Williams, Dolphins wide receiver Drew Morgan and Patriots wide receiver Cody Hollister. None of the Razorbacks’ 2018 undrafted free agents - Buccaneers quarterback Austin Allen, Chargers safety Josh Liddell, Colts cornerback Henre' Toliver and Chargers defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson - were listed.

Seven players claim the tile of highest-rated in Madden 19 with an overall rating of 99: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, Rams defensive end Aaron Donald, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly, Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The lowest-rated player on the game is Saints tight end Zach Wood.

The NFL-based video game is scheduled to be released on Friday, August 10 and will be available on a number of gaming consoles, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
