OAN News Network

OAN News Network

  • I just happened upon this One America News channel. It seems to be an honest to goodness conservative news network. I had never really heard about it before (not surprisingly I guess since it definitely appears to NOT be a left leaning network). Anyone here ever watch this network?

It just did a segment about a Muslim extremist attack on a school in Russia back in 2004 where over 300 innocent children were killed and over 1000 innocent people were held hostage. This is a story that OAN correctly feels should not be forgotten, that would never be reviewed or mentioned again by the MSM. They had another very good story about the selective application of "denial of service" laws targeting Christian bakeries, etc., yet the NCAA and celebrities canrefuse to perform in NC simply because they don't like the common sense bathroom law.

I really like what I have seen from One America News. I would recommend any of my common sense, conservative friends to check this network out. FYI, it's channel347 on Directv.

  • Beslan. The msm claim it was ' Chechen separatists '. Nothing to do w/Muslims

Certainly, the media covered the attack, but they greatly under reported the cause and players involved. And they sure as hell don't delve below the surface, or dare to revisit the attack.

They'll go ape doo-doo in trying to gen up a fake ( but accurate ) story about George W Bush going awol from the Texas Air National Guard, 30 years after the fact, but don't look for any meaningful recounting of what took place in Belsan that day.

  • I used to watch it some after it first started. Here you can only get it on U-verse or Direct TV, and I don't have either one of those. Their news programs were good, didn't really get into their editorials. (seems like they only had one or two editorials at the time)

Looks likeyou can read it on their website.

I'll add it to my google news feed.
  • OAN is a great news channel.  They always just report the important news. None of the fancy stuff every other news channel sprinkles in to try and attract viewers.  They also have less commercials.  Graham Ledger and Liz Wheeler are conservatives and I pretty much line up with their views, and I never have seen anyone on OAN trying to sell their books, which is a big pet peeve of mine.

  • It's an awesome channel! They actually report news from around the world. They give little 2 minute segments about US history throughout the day. The opinion shows at night have a conservative slant and they are very well done.

I'm glad that DTV picked this channel up. It is quickly becoming a favorite. It's so nice to see actual news being fairly presented.
