The Los Angeles Lakers fell to 0-3 in the California Classic from Sacramento, Calif. on Tuesday when they lost 77-71 to the Golden State Warriors.

Former Florida State guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes played, but did not start at point guard for the Lakers, in their finale from the California Classic. He started in their first two games. While he didn't start, he saw a good bit of time on the court and made an impact. He finished with 14 points on 4-for-9 (44.4%) shooting from the floor including 2-for-3 (66.7%) from deep. He was 4-for-7 (57.1%) at the charity stripe. He also had eight assists, five rebounds, two steals, a block and two turnovers. He finished with a +/- of 6 in just shy of 24 minutes of play.

The Lakers action in the California Classic has now concluded.

The Lakers will now participate in the full league NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas, Nev. That league starts on July 6th with the Lakers first game on July 7th.

Rathan-Mayes is one of six former Seminoles that is set to participate in the NBA Summer League from Las Vegas, Nev. The other former Seminoles participating are Jonathan Isaac and Braian Angola with the Orlando Magic, Dwayne Bacon with the Charlotte Hornets, Malik Beasley with theDenver Nuggets and Okaro White with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
