Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive tackle Evan Neal is simply massive. The four-star recruit measured in at 6-foot-7.5, 391-pounds at The Opening Regional in Miami this past March. It is that sheer size that has colleges from across the nation excited about Neal’s potential moving forward.

However, Neal is already a pretty dominant offensive tackle already. As you can see in the video above, Neal moves well for his size, and his extremely long arms make it tough for pass rushers to get past.

Neal is not a fan of the recruiting process, but sources indicate that the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, and Miami Hurricanes are the teams most likely at the top currently. However, it’s probably the Hurricanes and Seminoles atop that select group of schools.

One thing working in Miami’s favor is the fact his mother is high on the Hurricanes. Neal says he is not going to let outside influences sway his opinion though.

"I make my own decision. I'm not going to pick a school based on me wanting to play with someone."

Regardless, do not expect Neal to end his recruitment anytime soon. He looks to take recruiting deep into the cycle after offering a quick Alabama commitment up early in his high school career before backing off that pledge days later.

The industry generated 247Sports Composite currently ranks Neal as the nation’s No. 41 overall prospect and the No. 8 offensive tackle in the 2019 recruiting class.
