Who is Amrit Dhaliwal?

  • Saw on Twitter that he committed today. Anyone know anything about this guy? Walk on? It sounded like it was for this year.

  • Discussion
  • He played at a prep school last year and Modesto Christian the year before. Small quick PG that I would assume will be a walk on.

  • 2017 Modesto Central Catholic Grad. Played last year at a Prep School.

  • Interesting, left-handed but shoots his jumpers righty. The release on that jump shot a little slow too, but looks good when it goes in. Seems to have some good handles, use of both hands, hopefully he gives us some good minutes in practice.

  • On talk radio yesterday they said this player is on scholarship.

  • As I was looking for some more highlights on this player I came across a full game video in which his team played against Agau's team.

Amrit is number 3 in the white jersey and Agau is number 4 in the black jersey.

That was D. Howerton saying he was probably on scholarship. I listen to him often and he gets lots of information wrong. He also had his scholarship numbers wrong yesterday. Unless someone is leaving we don't have another scholarship to give him.

3 has skills. I think he uses the bounce pass out front too much and he got it stolen a few times for that reason. He would have to play somewhat differently against bigger/quicker players in D-1.

However, he is quite quick and that can not be taught. He made some shots as well.

He has a motor. The pace of that game was outrageous. I sometimes wonder how they do it.

#4 I like what I saw. He obviously is raw, but he looks like a shooter at the FT line. He is very quick as well and has very good jumping ability. He seems to have pretty good hands.

Hutson will have plenty to work with with these two young men.

Thanks for posting the video of those 2.

Harry, u should volunteer to Coach but you'll have to stop blaming the Refs for our losses.
