The Fresno State Bulldogs are well represented in the NFL once again heading into the 2018 preseason. Although NFL stars Derek Carr and Davante Adams receive the national spotlight, the Bulldogs actually have a total of 11 players on rosters this preseason. This week NFL teams released their initial depth charts, revealing where many Bulldogs stand in their pursuit of a starting spot or a 53-man roster spot.

The NFL preseason will feature a few marquee matchups between Fresno State Bulldog alumni. Tonight, the NFL's top two draft picks will take center stage as the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants will face at 4 p.m. PT on the NFL Network. That matchup will feature former Bulldog Curtis Riley of the Giants, as well as Derron Smith and Da'Mari Scott of the Browns. Riley is currently projected to start at safety.

Three NFL teams will feature two Bulldogs on their rosters. Along with Smith and Scott on the Browns, they include the Detroit Lions with offensive lineman Kenny Wiggins and defensive back Charles Washington and the Tennessee Titans with offensive lineman Cody Wichmann and defensive end Tobenna Okeke.

That means an Aug. 30 matchup between the Lions and Browns is set to feature four former Fresno State Bulldogs in the same game.

Stars Derek Carr and Davante Adams will also meet on Aug. 24 in Oakland - not far from Adams' hometown of Palo Alto. That matchup will also be featured on the NFL Network.
