With players having reported in Lawrence and Fall camp underway, Phog.net will be taking you through the current roster to look at how the team stacks up at each position and what newcomers and returners should be expected to contribute.

Our first slideshow broke down the quarterbacks and running backs, two groups that could very well play a large role in how the team performs in the 2018 season. Our next look was at the offensive line, a unit which should also be crucial to Kansas in the upcoming year.

This week's slideshow will break down the wide receivers, a unit that has plenty of talented returners without any key departures from a year ago. Senior Steven Sims should be expected to be the leader of the group, while players like Kerr Johnson, Quan Hampton, Evan Fairs and Daylon Charlot will be competing for a larger role moving forward.

It's also worth noting the Jayhawks have a new position coach for that unit this year, with Justin Johnson taking over wide receiver responsibilities and helping the Jayhawks recruit the St. Louis-area, among other things.

Regardless, with Sims back for his senior year and plenty of talent around him, there are several players worth keeping an eye on headed into the season. Here is an early look at how the group is shaping up...
