LSU's 2019 commitment list now holds verbal pledges from 12 recruits, including four names from Louisiana and three out of Texas.

The remaining five commitments come from five different states, including Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Michigan.

The Tigers have commitments in from four offensive linemen, a group headlined by five-star Kardell Thomas that also includes Anthony Bradford, Charles Turner and Thomas Perry. The staff also has a commitment from one defensive lineman in Joseph Evans and an edge rusher at outside linebacker in Marcel Brooks.

Marcus Banks, the most recent commitment to the class, joins four-star Maurice Hampton as the two defensive back commitments so far, and the Tigers have a middle linebacker on board in Starkville (Miss.) rising senior Zach Edwards.

Toss in the nation's No. 12 running back prospect in Tyrion Davis and a pair of elite specialists in kicker/punter Cade York and long snapper Quentin Skinner, and it's a solid start for LSU this recruiting cycle - even cracking into the Top 10 of the 247Sports Team Rankings over the weekend.
