More tightening is likely, but that's still a wide gap for Trump (and his record) to overcome completely. Like you say though, it's 2020, so we probably should know to accept the worst possible outcome.

538 is a great resource for tracking. Compiles all significant polls done and weighs them based on their historical accuracy

The big caveat with all polling going on is voter turnout which is an enormous question mark this year and it's different in each state depending on their status with containing COVID. Polls and "lessons learned" on how to be more accurate in survey methodology was based on conditions of past elections. Don't have that luxury this year.
