  • What forms of payment does 247Sports accept?

    247Sports currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you would like to use another form of payment, please email customer support at support@247Sports.com.

  • How do I update my billing information?

    To update your billing information, click "Current Subscription" link located below "Subscriptions and Payment" after Clicking Here OR use the "My Account" link which is located in the top right drop down menu of the site. From there click the "Settings" tab. You will be able to add a new credit card by clicking "Current Subscription" located under the "Subscriptions and Payment" headline. From here you can edit, delete, or add a new payment method.

  • What does it mean if I have a failed or lapse payment?

    A failed or lapse payment means there was an issue while processing your form of payment. If your payment is not accepted, click the "Current Subscription" link after clicking here or click on "My Account" followed by clicking on the "Settings" tab followed by the "Current Subscription" link. Here you will find your currently billed credit card.

    1. Confirm that your current credit card information is correct.
    2. If the payment information is not correct click "add a new payment method" to update your payment information.
    3. If your payment information is correct and your payment is not going through, contact your bank.
  • When is my subscription set to renew?

    To view when your subscription will renew, click the "Current Subscriptions" tab after Clicking Here or click on the "My Account" link. From here, click on the "Settings" tab followed by the "Current subscription" link. You will see your account status and expiration date located below your card information.

  • How do I purchase a gift subscription to 247Sports?

  • How do I cancel my subscription to 247Sports?

    To cancel a subscription per our Terms of Service, you'll need to call us at 1-888-508-3055 in order to verbally confirm your cancellation. We're available Mon-Fri from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST.

  • How do I unsubscribe from a site's newsletter?

    Pull up a recent newsletter, scroll down to the bottom of it and click on 'unsubscribe'.

  • I am a paid subscriber and I am unable to access my account.

    If you are a registered subscriber having trouble accessing any article/board make sure follow these steps:

    1. Make sure that you are logged in. You can log in by clicking here or use the "Log In" tab located in the top right hand corner of the 247Sports.com website. Use the email address associated with your 247Sports account and your password to login. Once logged in successfully, you should see your username in place of the "Sign In" tab.
    2. Make sure that your payment information is correct. You can do so by clicking the "Current subscription" link after clicking here or read here.
    3. If you're still having trouble accessing the site, please email support@247Sports.com
  • How do I access my user account information?

    To access your user account information, click here or click on the "My Account" link from the drop down menu located at the top right of the site. "My Account" is located between "Tools" and "Sign Out".

  • How do I update the email address associated with my account?

    To update your email address, click the "Manage Profile" link located under "Account" after clicking here or use the "My Account" link and then click on the "Settings" tab followed by the "Manage Profile" link located under "Account". In the field marked "Email Address" enter your updated e-mail address and click "save". This will now be the e-mail address you use to log in to 247Sports.

  • How do I update my newsletter preferences?

    You can access your newsletter preferences by clicking here or by clicking the "My Account" tab from the right corner drop down menu. Once in "My Account" click the "Settings" tab followed by the "Manage Newsletters" link located below the "Personalization" headline. Click "Save" to complete any changes.

  • How do I change my 247Sports username?

    To change your username, email customer support at support@247Sports.com and provide your current user name along with the new user name you wish to use on 247Sports. In case your first choice is already taken, it's recommended you also include a second and third option in your e-mail.

  • Why did my username change?

    On December 27, 2012, we made a code change where usernames that contained special characters such as @, %, $, &, ., were replaced by numerals. To edit your user name, simply email customer support at support@247Sports.com with your current username and e-mail address along with your top three choices for your new username.

  • How do I change my password?

    Click the "Change Password" link after Clicking Here or use the "My Account" tab followed by the "Settings" tab to find the "Change Password" link located under the "Account" headline. Enter your current password along with your new password and click save. Passwords are case sensitive and must be At least 6 characters, and one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one number or special character.

  • I lost or forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

    Click on the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the 247Sports login page.

  • How can I view my activity?

    You can view your activity on the site by clicking the tab marked with your username after clicking here or by clicking the "My Account" tab from the drop down menu. Once in "My Account" click the tab with your username.

  • I am unable to log in using the 'Log In' button.

    Click here or enter 'https://247sports.com/User/Login' in your web browser.

  • How can I access my 247Sports account?

    You can access your 247Sports account from any computer, tablet, or phone simply by logging into your account. Make sure to sign up for text message updates by clicking "Alerts" after Clicking Here and you can follow our social media sites here: Facebook, Twitter

  • I am a current monthly or annual subscriber. Why can't I access VIP content or posts?

    There are several reasons why you may not be able to access VIP articles or posts.

    1. You are not logged in: Make sure when you are on 247Sports that your username is featured in the upper right hand corner. If the option to "Log In" is featured, you are not logged in. To Log In, click here.
    2. Your Subscription: You may have a generic 247Sports subscription instead of a team specific subscription. To find out the type of subscription you have, click the "Current Subscription" tab after clicking here or click on the "My Account" link and then click on the "Settings" tab. Your subscription type will be listed under the "Current subscription" link under the "Subscriptions and Payment" headline. To change your site subscription, email customer support at Support@247Sports.com.
    3. Billing Information: If you are subscribed to the correct site, another reason you may experience problems accessing content is that your billing information is not correct, or lapsed, meaning that we could not charge the credit card you have on file on your renewal date. Click the "Current Subscription" link after Clicking here to view your current payment information. Or click here to read more about payment issues.
    4. Partner site membership: If you are a member of a partner site that joined 247Sports and did not transfer your billing information over to the new site during the transition, you will only have access to premium articles on your specific team site. To gain access to premium content across the network, when logged into the site click on the banner "Give me my 30 days" to complete the final step of the merge process.
  • Can you sign up for more than one free trial?

    247Sports only allows one free trial every 6 months. If you don't qualify for a free trial, it will be clearly displayed at the top of the subscription page along with the date you are eligible for your next free trial.

  • Merge and Activating Accounts

    Many sites have joined the 247Sports network that were previously on an existing team site network (example: BamaOnLine.com). In most cases, 247Sports honors the user's previous subscription/membership term if a user completes the merge/activation process. Once a user completes this step, they will have full access to their respective team site with the same subscription term from their previous membership. If a user decides to cancel their merged account prior to the next renewal date, 247Sports will immediately deactivate the account, eliminating access to the site. Note: This is different from how standard subscriptions (non-merged) are treated. With standard subscriptions originating on the 247Sports network, users will receive all the time they have paid for, even if they decide to cancel their account prior to the next renewal date.

  • I am unable to log in using the 'Log In' button.

All Access VIP(AAVIP) Answers (Back to Top)

  • What is AAVIP?

    All-Access VIP (AAVIP) is a loyalty program established to give 247Sports subscribers more value to their membership at no additional cost.

    • This is our opportunity to say "thank you" for your support.
    • All-Access VIP allows both annual and monthly subscribers to read ALL content in the network including articles and VIP posts on any site in the network.
    • AAVIP members will also receive a special AAVIP message board badge and enrollment into the text alerts service.
    • With All-Access VIP, members will be able to read not only news and analysis from their team site experts, but get insight from all experts across the 247Sports network. AAVIP will allow subscribers to gain additional news on their team and recruiting targets while providing more entertainment.
  • When can I get AAVIP?
    • All-Access VIP is available to any active annual subscriber and monthly subscriber that has been billed a minimum of three months. All-Access VIP is not available during any free trial periods.
    • Annual subscribers qualify immediately.
    • Monthly subscribers qualify for AAVIP after their third month of subscription service (billings do not have to be successive).
  • How do I obtain AAVIP during my free trial period?
    • If you wish to obtain AAVIP during your free trial period or before you hit 3 months with your monthly subscription, there will be an activation option, which will charge your credit card the appropriate amount depending on your subscription type to achieve All-Access VIP and give you instant access. Any unused free time will then be added onto the end of your current subscription.
    • For example, if you signed up for an annual 30-day free trial and want to upgrade to AAVIP on day 15 of your free time, your card will be charged the annual rate. 15 days will then be added onto the end of your year subscription.
    • For example, if you are a monthly member and have already been charged for one month ($12.95) and you want to activate All-Access VIP, your card will then be charged for two additional months ($25.90). Two months plus any unused time from current month will be added onto the end of your subscription. In this example, you are not paying any extra money for AAVIP, you are only prepaying the upcoming two months so that you can have AAVIP without waiting until you reach the three month requirement.
  • Are there any restrictions for AAVIP?
    • All-Access VIP is not available during any free trial periods.
    • All-Access VIP does not give qualified subscribers the ability to post on all message boards throughout the network. AAVIP subscribers can only post on their designated team site message board unless a message board is already set up to allow posts from any registered user.
    • All-Access VIP is not available during any free trial period. If you wish to obtain AAVIP during your free trial, there will be an activation option, which will charge your credit card the appropriate amount depending on your subscription type to achieve All-Access VIP and give you instant access. Any unused free time will then be added onto the end of your current subscription.
  • Does AAVIP allow a subscriber to post on any message boards?

    All-Access VIP does not give subscribers the ability to post on all message boards. All-Access VIP subscribers can only post on their designated team site message board unless there's a message board already set up to allow posts and replies from any registered user.

  • Why is my AAVIP badge not showing up?

    Your All-Access VIP badge will take the place of your VIP badge once you upgrade to AAVIP. If you have two custom badges, the AAVIP will not replace those two badges.

  • Can I post VIP content from another site's message board over to my main team site's board?
    • We have instructed all moderators and publishers to delete VIP content that has been copied from one site to another. Users are permitted and encouraged to post links to the original site for discussion purposes. Paraphrasing is permitted as long is it is not a direct and extensive copy of the material. We encourage viewing all team site message boards in the 247Sports network, but ask that you do not copy posts (cut and paste) from board to board.
    • Re-posting VIP content could result in an immediate blacklist/ban from viewing posts from the message board that contained the original message board posts. Banning or Blacklisting is at the sole discretion of each team site's moderators and publishers. General discussion of posts from board to board is permitted as long as the purpose is not to troll or instigate and provoke fans from opposing schools.
  • What happens if I am banned from viewing posts from a team site message board? Do I still have AAVIP?

    If you have been banned from viewing message board posts from a specific team site message board, you will not have AAVIP for that specific site. You will be able to view posts from other team site message boards, but not from the site that you have been banned. You may petition the site's moderators or publisher for reinstatement. Reinstatement is at the sole discretion of each team site's moderators or publisher.

  • Why is 247Sports providing subscribers AAVIP?

    There are four primary reasons why 247Sports is adding AAVIP to our arsenal of products and services:

    1. 247Sports is all about giving users/subscribers more value, more products and better service for your money. This is our way of giving you MORE value at no additional cost.
    2. 247Sports is built from the ground up of a TEAM of reporters, scouts, publishers, employees, and engineers that all work together. 247Sports is not a collection of individually run team sites and message boards, but rather one network that works together under a common mission. It is important to us that all users/subscribers have access to all of the network's talent, products and services.
    3. AAVIP gives users/subscribers more inside scoop than ever before. In addition to the team of National Recruiting Analysts, 247Sports also has 70+ Regional Analysts and team-based recruiting insiders. AAVIP users will be able to view scoop from the entire team of insiders across the network. When a key recruit is deciding between two teams, or when conference rivals go head-to-head, AAVIP users will have a better understanding of the inside scoop by being able to catch up on both sides of the story.
    4. As we have stated on numerous occasions, we are just getting started building the future of our product offering. It would be extremely restrictive and prevent us from adding many of the new and exciting products that we think will be a staple of our industry for decades without adding AAVIP. Many future services; including feeds, community threads, @ tags for posters, reporters, players and recruits, short form content system and several new mobile products will require AAVIP.

  • Why did I get Blacklisted or Banned?

    If you are blacklisted or banned from a specific site, please contact the moderators or administrators of that specific site via e-mail or private message, or email support@247Sports.com.

  • How do I private message a user?

    There are two locations to send a user a private message.

    1. You can access your private message inbox by clicking here. Or click the "Inbox" tab from the top right drop down menu. From here click "New Message" and you can personally write any user of our site.
    2. Secondly, you can click on the white envelope below a user's user name within a post on the board.
  • How many users can I include in a private message?

    You can include up to 10 users when sending a private message.

  • How do I ignore a user?

    To ignore a user, click on the circle with a slash icon located below the user name on one of their posts on the board.

  • How do I add or change my signature?

    To add or change your signature, click the "Manage Signature" link under "Personalization" after clicking here or click on the "My Account" tab located in the top right drop down menu on the site. From here click on the "Settings" tab followed by the "Manage Signature" link. Here you can turn your signature on or off, add texts, add pictures, and choose the layout of your signature.

  • How do I turn off signatures?

    To turn off a signature, click on the turn off signatures button at the top right of the message board.

  • What happens when I follow a user or follow a board?
    1. If you follow a user, you then can set a filter at the top of the board to only show posts from users that you are following. This is useful if you just want to read posts from the insiders/experts on the site.
    2. If you follow a board, the board will then appear under the tab for "my boards" at the top of the message board. Then you can easily jump to one of the boards that you follow.
  • How many up/down votes does a user receive?

    A user receives a total of 25 votes (20 up votes and 5 down votes) per day.

  • What does it mean if the down vote button is grayed out

    There are two possible reasons why a down vote button will be disabled. First, if you registered on a site other than your home team site, the down vote button will be disabled. To switch your home site, please email customer support at support@247Sports.com. Secondly, if you use a higher ratio of down votes to up votes per day, your number of down votes will decrease which may leave you with zero down votes.
