Nebraska football will kick off the first fall camp of the Scott Frost era in a little less than a month, and expectations will no doubt rise as fans will be hungry to see if the former Husker quarterback can restore Nebraska to its former place among college football’s top programs.

Every fall, a good amount of attention is focused on newcomers who will be entering their first season of college football, and Frost and his staff put a strong emphasis on finding transfer and junior college players who can come in and play early in 2018.

Despite the new faces, Nebraska will still have to rely heavily on players already on the roster to aid in the turnaround in 2018. A new coaching staff can often provide a fresh start for players already on the roster, and a number of Huskers will be looking for bigger roles and competing for starting jobs.

Here are 10 non-newcomers we’re going to be watching closely when Nebraska’s fall camp kicks off in early August.
