1,500 Pedophile Arrests Since Trump Took Office

  • Trump has been cleaning up some of the lowest scum that live on planet earth....

Unreported: 1,500 pedophile arrests have been made nationally since Trump took office

President Donald Trump is making good on his pledge to use the “full force and weight” of the U.S. government to break up child sex trafficking rings and lock up sexual predators.

Since Trump was sworn in, authorities have arrested more than 1,500 pedophiles in the United States.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order giving the FBI extra power to crack down on human trafficking offenses.

“This should be one of the biggest stories in the national news. Instead, the mainstream media has barely, if at all, covered any of these mass pedophile arrests. This begs the question – why?” Liz Crokin wrote for Townhall.com on Feb. 25.

The numbers are “staggering” when compared to the less than 400 sex trafficking-related arrests made in 2014 according to the FBI.

In a press conference from the White House on Feb. 23, Trump addressed how human trafficking is a “dire problem” domestically and internationally. “Dedicated men and women across the federal government have focused on this for some time as you know – it’s been much more focused over the last four weeks,” he said.

The press conference “was barely a blip in the mainstream media and the massive arrests have been almost completely ignored by the MSM altogether,” Crokin wrote.

Crokin noted some of the major arrests that have been made since Trump took office:

    • On Jan. 27 authorities arrested 42 in a human trafficking operation in Tennessee.
    • On Jan. 29 authorities announced that 474 were arrested in a statewide California human trafficking operation and 28 sexually exploited children were rescued.
    • 178 people were arrested in Texas for sex trafficking in sting that operated in January until Super Bowl Sunday.
    • On Feb. 14 the Polk County sheriff announced that 42 were arrested in Florida in child pornography related cases.

This is very critical work that is getting done.  Congratulations to Trump and law enforcement officials for making desparetly needed progress on the scourge on humanity.

  • This looks eerily familiar to events that took place under Obama...

FBI hacked the Dark Web to bust 1,500 pedophiles

The Federal Bureau of Investigation infiltrated and shut down what it called "the largest remaining known child pornography hidden service in the world" this summer, using a hacking method to track IP addresses on the Dark Web, Vice Motherboard reported. The Dark Web bulletin board site, named "Playpen," launched in August 2014 and within one year had garnered 215,000 accounts with 11,000 unique visitors each week.

Motherboard broke down the FBI's hacking process as follows: The bureau seized the server running Playpen in February 2015, but didn't shut it down immediately. Instead, the FBI took "unprecedented" measures and ran the site via its own servers from February 20th to March 4th, at the same time deploying a hacking tool known internally as a network investigative technique. The NIT identified at least 1,300 IP addresses belonging to visitors of the site.

"Basically, if you visited the homepage and started to sign up for a membership, or started to log in, the warrant authorized deployment of the NIT," a public defender for one of the accused told Motherboard. He said he expected at least 1,500 court cases to stem from this one investigation, and called the operation an "extraordinary expansion of government surveillance and its use of illegal search methods on a massive scale," Motherboard reported.

Either this is nothing new as Obamadid it before, or it is news somehow repeating itself solely for the glory of Trump.

Odd that the original poster's story only paid attention to 2014 as singling out that year for numbers yet they could have looked at 2015, 2016 too. In any event, glad these folks are getting caught. Sounds like these busts have been ongoing for several years so glad the FBI is continuing the work.

  • I didn't see where Bill Clinton had been arrested. If pizzagate is investigated there should be a few more.

  • If he gets credit for all of these things that he has nothing to do with...can I blame him for our basketball season?

  • Need to correct the thread title to "Trump once again takes credit for something he had nothing to do with." It's amusing that from the list of arrests in the original article, SCP chose to include only those that happened after Trump took office. It's clear from the Townhall article that most of the arrests took place before Trump was inaugurated, and that all the investigations were well under way and likely finished before then as well.

  • Great job Mr. President!!

  • Dropped a massive king on the white throne this morning, expect to see Drudge and Prez TP announce how they're making my bowels great again.

  • wow...someone didn't take sfw's advice from a couple weeks back

  • Did they get the criminal immigrant one that was going to headline CPAC yet, SCP?

  • The author misread the data from 2014.

In 2014, just in the state of Texas, there were just over 700 trafficking related arrests. She mistakenly read the "offenses" chart I suppose.

Plus, only about half the states report sex trafficking as part of the UCR.

Where does the 1500 number come from?

As an attempt to defend Milo's vile comments, this is a pretty terrible one unless you believe in alternative facts.

As I'm sure you know, ALL statistics related to Trump's presidency (and anybody's, of course) start being counted from the day of his inauguration.  He is doing what all politicians do, which is take credit for anything good that happens while he is in office.  There's nothing new to see here.

Another hole in the townhall piece: many of the arrests cited happen before Trump's inauguration. She cites hundreds of arrests at the Detroit Auto Show "last month" and failed to mention that it takes place between January 8-22nd. That's just one example.

  • Let's not lose site of the goal. They got a bunch of pedophiles off the streets. I don't really care if it was during Obama or Trumps time. I doubt either one really had much to do with it. More important it's that many fewer protesting at the town halls.

The clear goal of the article is to defend Milo and praise Trump, even if it means straight up lying.

Yep, the end goal is one to be praised.

  • Thank you for posting, I started a thread a while back on this. In my humble view, pedophilia and abusing children is the worst of the worst and it must be eradicated. I also fear that this runs in VERY high circles in world governments. I have a sick feeling that if the Feds actually investigated Weiner's laptop, the Clinton Foundation, and that freak John Podesta, big time arrests would be coming....

I think we all agree that bringing sex traffickers to justice is a good thing.

Using made up data to gain political points with an emotionally charged issue is less of a good thing.

Awesome.  Any other theories you care to share?

  • Seems I wasn't the only one to pick up on the bogosity of this bit of fake news.

    http://reason.com/blog/2017/02/27/trumps-fake-crackdown-on-sex-trafficking

"At Townhall.com, sex-crime victims' advocate and author Liz Crokin accuses the mainstream media of "ignoring Trump's sex trafficking busts." In Crokin's reality, "authorities have arrested an unprecedented number of sexual predators involved in child sex trafficking rings in the United States" since Donald Trump took office on January 20. "There have been a staggering 1,500-plus arrests in one short month; compare that to less than 400 sex trafficking-related arrests in 2014 according to the FBI," Crokin writes.

This is, as Trump would put it, "fake news." Every part of it. For starters, the 2014 data she links to is far from a complete account of U.S. sex-trafficking arrests that year. It reflects incomplete state-level arrest numbers from just 26 U.S. states, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. It does not include all state sex-trafficking arrests, by far, nor does it include any sex trafficking arrests by federal agencies such as the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which make thousands of sex trafficking arrests annually (though far fewer trafficking indictments and convictions).

The idea that there have been "an unprecedented number" of sex traffickers arrested since Trump took office has similarly little basis in reality, and there's zero truth to the claim of law-enforcement busting up child sex-trafficking rings. Meanwhile, many of the arrests Crokin includes in her tally—arrests that include mostly women selling sex and men trying to engage in consensual adult prostitution—are part of annual sting operations, were the result of investigations n the works long before Trump took office, and/or had absolutely nothing to do with federal law-enforcement directives or activities. (That is, when we can check Crokin's sources; two of the pages she links to as evidence can't be found.)

Here are the arrests that Croklin credits as Donald Trump-brokered busts of pedophile trafficking rings:

As evidence of these arrests that Crokin doesn't think are being covered in the mainstream media, she links to news reports on ABC, NBC, and CBS news affiliates, describing events also covered widely by other media in their respective states or regions. The California sting was also reported by mainstream print and broadcast media across the country, as was the broader National Johns Suppression Initiative that resulted in the Texas arrests."

  • We have the president of the United States locking them up and then on the other hand we have the governor of North Carolina aiding and abetting the criminal pedophiles. While also pushing for their protection while doing so in the public restrooms. If Governor Cooper wants to bring Jerry Sandusky into his own children's bathrooms and grandchildren's bathrooms, then let him do so, but he will not bring them upon us
