There is something special about locker rooms celebrations after big wins in collegiate athletics. The unbridled joy. The excitement. The goofiness. The insanity.

North Carolina's 7-5 win over Stetson on Saturday afternoon inspired a chain reaction of celebrations. The Super Regional Sweep punched the Tar Heels' ticket to Omaha and the College World Series. From the on-the-field dogpile immediately after the win to multiple celebrations and a lot of water in the locker room later, UNC went all out to celebrate their first trip to Omaha since 2013.

This is Carolina's seventh College World Series berth since 2006 and as coach Mike Fox said leading up to the Super Regional weekend, the Tar Heels are going to make sure they enjoy the journey. Check out highlight videos from UNC featuring the postgame celebrations, the dogpile, and the locker room action.

Following the Super Regional win, the team got a message from a high profile North Carolina alum when eight-time NBA All-Star and NBA Dunk Contest champion Vince Carter reached out. The tweet earned some traction and inspired a cool exchange between Vinsanity and Tar Heel sophomore first baseman Michael Busch. It looks like Carter might be watching some baseball in Omaha this weekend.
