Buckeyes accept Senior Bowl Invites

  • TREY SERMON
    RB, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES

Ohio State senior RB Trey Sermon accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Sermon (6'1/215) began his college career at Oklahoma before deciding to transfer to Ohio State in the spring. The senior has been part of the equation at running back for a team looking to account for the loss of J.K. Dobbins, splitting time with Master Teague. Through four games Sermon has rushed for 239 yards on 45 carries while also catching four passes for 35 yards. In three seasons at Oklahoma he accounted for more than 2,000 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. Sermon projects to be a Day 3 selection in this spring's draft, with Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline giving him a fifth-round grade.

    TUF BORLAND

Ohio State redshirt senior LB Tuf Borland has accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Borland (6'1/234), a two-time defensive captain for the Buckeyes, has accounted for 19 total tackles (2.5 for loss) and 1.0 sacks in four games this season. In each of the three seasons prior the redshirt senior appeared in 14 games for the Buckeyes, proving to be both durable and effective at inside linebacker. Borland has been projected by some to be an early Day 3 prospect, with Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline giving him a fourth-round grade.

I know they can always recant, but it might give some insight into who might be gone given the NCAA isn't counting this year for eligibility.
