2019 Brooklyn (N.Y.) Canarsie defensive end Adisa Isaac claimed a Penn State offer this week, one of his latest amid a surge of recruiting interest.

Isaac received the offer on Wednesday while the Nittany Lions were busy wrapping up their 2018 class. He visited University Park on Nov. 18 during Penn State's Senior Day victory over Nebraska and is unranked per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Isaac holds a four-star rating from 247Sports and the title of top 2019 prospect in New York state.

Michigan also offered the young pass rusher on Wednesday, joining Penn State as by far the two highest-profile programs to have done so. Most of the interest he's garnered has remained in the northeast, with the likes of Boston College, Syracuse, Temple and Buffalo offering, too. Other Big Ten schools to have extended scholarships include Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota and Rutgers.

The Nittany Lions currently hold two commitments in the 2019 cycle.
