TCU landed a big commitment on Saturday night as Pickerington (OH) Central defensive tackle Karter Johnson committed to the Frogs.

Johnson committed to the Frogs while on his official visit to TCU.

Johnson is the 9th commitment for the Frogs' 2019 class and is the first defensive tackle commit. The Frogs class currently sits at No. 18 in the nation according to the 247Sports composite team rankings.

The 6-foot-3, 302-pounder is rated as the No. 58 defensive tackle in the nation and No. 36 overall player from Ohio. Johnson chose TCU over offers from Indiana, Minnesota and Michigan State among others.
